He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ambert and Zenada Lucille Hanson (Krohn); his wife Johanna Maria Bollig; his siblings, Lucille Gilbert, Ben Hanson and Walt Hanson; his nephew Gene Lynn; and his niece Julie Clopton.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Hanson, Lori Orosco and Debbie Molina; his sister Beth Grainger; and his grandchildren, Shari Hanson, Christopher Hanson-McLane, Stephanie Garcia, Shani Shock, Brenna Kellerman, Jennifer Mulvihill, Dana Mallon, Deann Hinojosa, Mike Wales and Adrianne Bickford. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
