It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Dale Parsons of Andover, Kansas, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Lee Parsons and Matilda Ann "Hanks" Parsons; his daughters, Lori, Megan and Melinda; and his siblings, Pamela, Debra, Charles and Ralph.
He is survived by: his wife Tiena; his daughter Stacy Parsons of Augusta; his brother Richard Parsons; and his grandchildren, Candi Parsons, David, Jessy and Derick Gimple. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Jimmie's honor, a testament to his compassionate spirit and lasting legacy of love and service.
