It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Douglas Bell of Andover, Kansas, born in Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jr. Bell and Helen Bell (Marjean); and his wife Carol Johnson. He is survived by: his daughters, Helen "Katie" (Michael Chastain), Megan Bell, Kelby (Kelley White) and Amada Diggs; his stepdaughter Kimber Chessmore (Jacob Langthorn); his grandchildren, Lawrence Timothy Chessmore, Evangeline Lily Chastain and Bennet Carter Chastain; and his sister Kelby "Tinker" Burnett (Keith Burnett).
Memorial Contributions be made out to the Wichita Public Library, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
