He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Chism and Marilyn Taylor (Sooby); his stepfather Leon Warden Taylor; his sister Shelly Shook (Chism); his children, Andrew Fullum Chism and Sabrina Walker; his son-in-law Willard Walker; his sisters, Cristy Robertson and Vicki Fisher; his grandchildren, Kodie Fewin, Kaleb Fewin and McKinlee Walker; and his great grandchild Brodie Fewin. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
