He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Blanche (Moomaw) and Byron Carlson Boone; his wife Helen Boone; his siblings, Henry Boone, Bill Boone, Elaine Johnson and Virginia Herdt; and his granddaughter Corine Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Lea Jones (Brent) of Andover, Kansas., James Forest Boone of Andover, Kansas. and Beth Ann Boone of Andover, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Jordan Jones (Molly) and Tristan Jones (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Brynlie Jones and Kinsley Jones; and his siblings, Kenneth Boone, Dorothy Gibson, Lucille Speer, Juanita Hall and Lois Koeppen.
