He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Unrein and Clementine Unrein (Heile); his siblings, Shirley White, Leroy Unrein and Dennis Unrein; and his grandsons, Michael James and Benjamin Buchanan.
He is survived by: his children, Benedict (Kelly), Juanita Buchanan (Keith) and Rebecca (Mark); and his siblings, Willard Unrein (Sue), Darlene Patrick (Duane), Dorothy Schaddegg and Judy Stuart.
In lieu of flowers a memorial established to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Andale, building fund.
