She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller and Iva Miller (Worcester); her husband Charles Pierce; her siblings, Earl Miller and Betty Brickell; and her great grandchild Samantha Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Pierce (Kathy) of Americus, Marsha Marsh (Jim) of Emporia and Marc Pierce (LaDonna) of Americus; her grandchildren, Todd Pierce (Anna) of Americus, Lori Douglas (Bryan) of Emporia, Heather Sigle (John) of Wilsey, Jamie Houck (Brandon) of Lexington, Oregon, Keri Schremmer (Brandon) of Hoisington, Kelly Wagaman (Troy) of Emporia, LaShonda Kendall (Travis) of Auborn, Nebraska, Cody Whiteley of Emporia, Sheena Shanks of Pittsburg and Cody Shanks of Prairie Village; her great grandchildren, Chase, Daniel, Cadence Pierce, Skyler, Sydney Douglas, Andrew Sigle, Hunter, Reese Houck, Gintry, Brynlee Schremmer, Kael, Koel, Kash Wagaman, Layton, Keeley Kendall, Emerson, Easton, Brylie and Tracker Whiteley; and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Miller and Roberta Pierce of Emporia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the global pandemic the family will have a celebration of life picnic in Mae's honor at a later date.
