She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Gene Grother; and her brother John Grother. She is survived by: her mother Susan Grother (Briggs); her husband Kirk Lewis; her children, Sarah Pangburn (Lewis), Erin Vaughn (Andrew) and Jacob Lewis; her grandsons, Charles Pangburn and Theodore Vaughn; her sisters, Rebecca Zimmer and Laura Grother; her brother-in-law Michael Waddington; her brother Benjamin Grother; her nephew John Zimmer; and her niece Kathryn Zimmer.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (1101 Neosho St, Emporia, KS 66801).
