She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. VanSickle and Lillian M. VanSickle (Randall); and her husband Melvin Boone Hensley. She is survived by: her children, John Boone Hensley (LaDonna), Brenda Sue Hughes (Warren), Mary Ann Charboneau (Lloyd), Carol Jean Barnaby (Mike) and Sandra Dee Fleming. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established with Lowry-Funston Post #1980, VFW, with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
