He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Grimsley and Anna Marie Grimsley (Christensen); and his siblings, Winifred Gatewood, Leslie Grimsley, Glenn Grimsley, Ross Grimsley, Mildred Daharsh and Jack Grimsley.
He is survived by: his wife B. Belle Grimsley (Gates); and his grandsons, Joel Grimsley Bland of Overland Park, KS and Samuel Bartholomew Bland of Americus, KS.
