He is survived by: his wife Lora May Gerdsen; his children, Ben (Jennifer Schubert) of Emporia, Mark Schubert of Emporia and Erica (Olivier Schubert-Chikly) of Uniontown; his brothers, Don (Janice Schubert) of Mound City and Roger (Lorene Schubert) of Enid; his grandsons, Dalton and Brendan; and his great grandchild Sophia.
