He was predeceased by: his father Charles L. "Tuna" Gatewood II; and his grandmothers, Ruth Hedrick and Viola Gatewood. He is survived by: his mother Kristy Sue Hamilton (Russ Carlburg) of Chanute; his brothers, Stuart Gatewood of Olathe and Skylar Gatewood of Pittsburg, Kansas; his grandparents, Paul, Debbie Hamilton of Columbus, Kansas, Lester, Sharon Lewis of Altamont, Charles and Anita Gatewood of Parsons; his aunts, Patrice Kendricks (Vic) of Parsons, Vonetta Gatewood (Patty) of Pittsburg and Tammy Volz (Randy) of Topeka; and his niece Mayari Dela Cruz-Gatewood.
