George Melvin Owens II Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Melvin Owens II of Altamont, Kansas, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Norma Dean Owens; and his stepdaughter Meghan Drake. He is survived by: his father George Owens; his stepmother Janice Owens of Altamont, KS; his son Max Owens of Neosho, MO; his stepsons, Ian Liss of Neosho and Zach Liss of Effingham, IL; his siblings, Barbie Harris of Neosho, MO, Betsy Judd (Chad) of Olathe, KS and Brent Owens (Lisa) of England; and his stepsiblings, Pamela Reed (Mick) of Greensboro, NC, Dana Sweeten (Jeff) of Edna, KS, Melissa McCollon (Scott) of Wilmington, NC and Chris Phelps (Sammye) of Overland Park, KS.. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
