It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Meeks of Altamont, Kansas, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Meeks and Dorothy Faye Meeks (McClaflin); his wife Rita; his siblings, Lealand Meeks, Gilbert Meeks, Chancey Meeks, Russell Meeks and Mildred Meeks; and his great grandchild Kimberly Meeks.
He is survived by: his children, Carol D. Meiwes (Charles) of Altamont, Michael L. Meeks of Altamont and Roger A. Meeks (Jennifer) of Oswego; his grandchild Fourteen; and his sisters, Dora Jane "Janie" Meeks of Altamont, Ione Spencer of Altamont and Dorothy Green of Altamont, Kansas.. He is also survived by Fourteen great-grandchildren, One great-great grandson, Three step-grandchildren, Five step-great-grandchildren.
For all events, social distancing guidelines will be followed, including the requirement of face masks.
