He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sample and Katherine Sample (McInturff); and his half-sister Sandra Sample Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Millie Pitts; and his children, Darin Sample (Kim) of Alta Vista, Shelly Chamberlain of Ponca City, OK, Jewel Criqui (Arthur) of Lebo and Jennifer Ziegenhirt (Eric) of Alta Vista. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; and a host of friends.
