He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gehrt and Emma Richter Gehrt; his wife Edna Elsie Wege; and his siblings, Norman, Arthur and Bernice Gehrt.
He is survived by: his former spouse Audria Geisler; his daughter Sandra Cuffel of Topeka; his grandsons, Derrick Cuffel of Topeka and Darren Cuffel (Jessica) of Topeka; his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Skyler, Chase and Koby; and his sister Nora Jean Lietz of Paxico.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
