With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Faye Zeckser of Alma, Kansas, who passed away on May 1, 2023 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Ida Helen Heder Meyer; her husband Elmer Zeckser; her daughter Carole Moege; and her siblings, Naomi Stuewe and Melvin Meyer.
She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Thomas of Topeka; her son-in-law Adolph "Sam" Moege of Alma; her grandchildren, Terry Moege (Debbie) of Valley Center, KS, Cheryl Markle (Fletcher) of Arvada, CO, Shelly Bush (Daryl) of Oklahoma City, OK, Kevin Thomas (Diane) of Smithville, MO, Kurt Thomas (Karena) of Topeka, KS and Kris Thomas (Heather) of Topeka, KS; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Reagan, Will, Bridget, Sydney, Delanie, Braden, Nathan, Samantha, Lacee, Jerod, Savannah, Kristopher and JaCory; and her great great grandchild Myles Reid Moege. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
