He was predeceased by: his parents, August Wertzberger and Helen Wertzberger (Haller); and his son Jason Wertzberger (Charles Sommer). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Joyce Maike; his sons, Scott Wertzberger (Chris) of Alma, John Wertzberger (Shannon) of Alma and Daniel Wertzberger (Jessi) of Alma; his grandchildren, Mitchell Wertzberger, Brandon Wertzberger, Madisyn Wertzberger, Luke Wertzberger and Eli Wertzberger; and his siblings, Barbara Sommer, Mary Gehrt and Robert Wertzberger.
They suggest memorial contributions to The Jason Wertzberger Scholarship Fund, Midland Hospice, or St. John Lutheran School, and those may be sent in care of Campanella and Stewart Funeral Home.
