He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Diehl and Nina Cathleen Diehl (Lewis); his brother George W. Diehl Jr.; and his sister-in-law Vona Diehl. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Elaine Reavis (Stuewe); his daughter Amy Summervill (Tim) of Marion, KS; his stepdaughter Lesa Dierking (Bruce) of Marysville, KS; his grandchildren, Allison Dierking, Shelby Summervill and Trent Summervill; and his siblings, Frank Diehl (Shelley) of Lawrence, KS, Glenda Lee (Terry) of Las Vegas, NV and Diana Trudo (Chris) of Wamego, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (218 W 2nd St, Alma, KS 66401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran School or the American Legion Post No. 32.
