He was predeceased by: his son David Wade Troxel; and his siblings, Wayne Elmer Troxell, Marjorie Gau (Troxel), Irene Meigs (Troxel), Georgia Storer (Troxel) and Dale Ray Troxell.
He is survived by: his wife Willa Marie Troxel of Iola, Kansas.; his sons, Wendell Dean Troxel (Patricia Marie Malenfant) of Solomons, Maryland, Douglas Wayne Troxel of Moran, Kansas and Darin Ward Troxel (Misty Dawn Troxel) of Carl Junction, Missouri; his grandchild Jamie Quigley (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Karter, Wyatt and Darin; and also Ashton Troxel-Apte (Raj Apte). He is also survived by two granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
