It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Robert Pio of Allen, Kansas, born in Council Grove, Kansas, who passed away on October 3, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Pio and Agnes Pio (Behrens); his sister Willetta Krause; and his granddaughter Isabelle Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Karen McCreath; his daughters, Amanda Ellis (Chris) of Eudora, Liza VanSickle (Fred) of Ava and Amber Anderson (Caleb) of Reading; his siblings, Rex Pio of Edgerton and Kelly Fleming of Edgerton; and his grandchildren, Abbie Satterfield, Grace VanSickle, Samuel VanSickle, Sarah VanSickle, Elijah VanSickle, Susannah VanSickle, Faith VanSickle, Daniel John Wesley VanSickle, Mary VanSickle, Hope Anderson, Elorah Ellis and Ben Ellis.
