With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sam Wright in Allen, Kansas, born in Latham, Kansas, who passed away on November 11, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betsy Wright (Taylor); his parents, Ora Wright (King) and Samuel C. Wright; his stepfather Bert Wright; and his sisters, Lois Starkey (Wright) and Margaret Louise Wright.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Jim Taylor; his children, Mary Flippo (Russel) of Douglass, Mark Wright (Gayle) of Douglass and Marty Wright (Debbie) of Council Grove; his grandchildren, Brett Wright (Nicole), Samantha Martin (Brady), Savannah Fox (Mike), Sarah Hageman (Taylor), Suzie Garcia (Jean Carlos), Jordan Roberts, Emily Jones (Grant), Katie Flippo and Allison Edwards (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Bailee, Kolter Wright, Weston, Grayson, Berkeley Martin and Mackenzie Edwards; and his sister Delores Metz (Wright) of Winfield.
