He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Aye and Mable Riddle Aye; his son Phillip H. Aye, Jr.; and his granddaughter Maya Padilla. He is survived by: his former wife Geri Kittrell; his wife Janice Sprinkle; his stepchildren, Donna Chevalier (John) of Olathe, Kansas and David Sprinkle (Erika) of Wichita, Kansas; his foster daughter Linda Elopre of Florida; his sister Judy Giddings; and also, Cindy Rhudy (Mike) of Emporia, Sheri Thurston (Randy) of Havelock, Debbie Weaver (J. D.) of Emporia, Vicki Padilla, Ray Tait of Topeka, Kansas and Sam Aye (Dawn) of Emporia. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, and 36 known great-grandchildren.
