He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvyn Mitchell and Anna Mitchell (Daniels); and his brothers, Melvyn, Tom and Wayne.
He is survived by: his spouse Marvilla Mitchell (Zeigler); his children, Harold Mitchell, Barbara Mitchell, David Mitchell (Gale) and Lori Ensminger (Alan); and his siblings, Theda Pentlin, Carl Mitchell and Linda Simpson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
