It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Sue Cockrell of Allen, Kansas, born in Cleveland, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Gregory and Sofrona Williams; her husband Bob; and her siblings, Ted, Billie Gregory and Roberta Arrington.
She is survived by: her sister Kay Ferguson of Broken Bow, OK; her children, Robert Cockrell (Mavis) of Topeka, KS, Richard Cockrell of Allen, KS and Ann Stark (David) of Bushong, KS; and her grandchildren, Cherie Hayes (Tyler), Robert Aaron Cockrell III, Jessica Coolbaugh (Phil) and Christopher Stark. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
