With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Kay Carter of Alden, Kansas, who passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beuford M. Carter and Mary E. Schnare Carter; his son Kevin Carter; and his siblings, William "Bill" Carter, Marilyn Richards and Beverly Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Proffitt; his daughters, Paula Willhaus (Nolan) of Alden and Sherry Jones (Dicko) of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Brandi Clark, Ashley Savage, Hayley Howard, Lindsey Johnson, Rachel Miller, Klint Carter, Brittany Ferguson and Brogan Jones. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
