Critchfield (Alden, Kansas), born in Oberlin, Kansas, who passed away on June 23, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymon Critchfield and Queenie Smith Critchfield; his son Leonard Thurman; his grandson Keith Vinson; his brother-in-law Fred Counter; and his son-in-law Robert Bagby.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Critchfield (Tina) of Alden, Doug Thurman (Debbie) of Lyons, KS, Dori Prebble (Andy) of Sterling, KS, Patsy Ramirez (Moe) of Lyons, KS, Vivian Bliss (John) of Kansas City, MO and Verna Bagby of Lyons, KS; his daughter-in-law Elaine Thurman of Lyons; his siblings, Martin Critchfield of Denver, CO and Sandy Counter of Oberlin, KS; his grandchildren, Annette (Vaughn), Gary, Jessica, Cassidy, Cody (Chelsie), Randy and Summer; and his great grandchildren, Devin, Bayleigh, Jace, Archer, Raymond and Kai. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alden United Methodist Church in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
