It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Lawrence of Albert, Kansas, born in Kinsley, Kansas, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William "Jack" and Agnes Montgomery (Bartlett); her husband Howard Lawrence; her daughter Sue Ann Lawrence; and her brother George Montgomery.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Lawrence (Leanna) of Columbia, Bruce Lawrence (Judy Demel) of Great Bend, Kan. and Shirley Deege (Jon) of Larned, Kan.; her grandchildren, Justin Lawrence, Amanda Lawrence, Stefanie Perret, Coryell Deege, Camelle Wassenberg, Carley Martin, Ari Lawrence and Nate Lawrence; her great grandchildren, Kenny Steinborn, Zoie Steinborn and Jaradee Perret; her sister Norma Kelly (Leonard) of Auburn, Kan.; and her sister-in-law Barbara Montgomery.
Memorials have been designated to the Albert Fire Department or Sr. Aquinata Penka Nursing Scholarship Fund with Golden Belt Community Foundation, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
