He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Henry and Anna Katherine Gottsch (Finnigan); his daughter Gayla Diane Gottsch O'Connell; and his siblings, Dan, Darrel, Alan and Edith Ann.
He is survived by: his former wife Dona Mae Molz; his wife Jean Petermann of Hutchinson; his daughters, Karen Thorsell (George) of Chanute, Linda Dixon (Bob) and Janice Wood (Craig) of Overland Park, KS; and his stepchildren, Lisa Neagle, David Petermann and Brian Petermann. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
