She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jason Smith and Mary Minerva Kauffman; her husband Max Shank; her sisters, Harriet Smith and Ruth Miller; her son Alan Shank; and her grandson Robert Leefers, Jr..
She is survived by: her former husband Don Ford; her children, Keith Shank (Penny) of Springfield, IL and Gloria Drake (Jeff) of Montgomery, IL; her daughter-in-law Mary Shank of Snohomish, WA; her foster son Scott Kimble of Salina; her grandchildren, Joshua Shank (Sachiko) of San Jose, CA, Jesse Shank (Gabe) of Tempe, AZ, Donna Pettijohn (John) of Springfield, IL, Richard Kinison (Krista) of Springfield, IL, Scott Kinison (Kari) of Springfield, IL, Deanna Drake-Kinney (Bo) of Seattle, WA and Elliot Drake of Montgomery, IL; her brother-in-law Don Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Stephen, Stan, Susan Miller, Melinda Bart and Pam Bolesta (Joe). She is also survived by numerous grand-nephews and grandnieces and their children.
