It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Troy Eugene Leatherman of Abilene, Kansas, born in Stafford, Kansas, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil A. Leatherman and Sarah F. Leatherman (Boggess); his former wife La Quinta Leatherman (Badders); and his brother-in-law John Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Leatherman (Badders); his stepchildren, Michelle Emerson (Larry) of Beloit, Mike Badders (Maria) of Salina and Mark Badders of McPherson; his sisters, Sherry Rishidian (John) of Henderson and Robin Ryan of Kirbyville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Alex, Zack, Miranda, Alexis and Ethan; and his nieces and nephews, Kathleen, Misty, Reza, Ramin, Raysha and Rod. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of Larrison Mortuary.
