It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Whitehair (Abilene, Kansas), who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Whitehair and Ceola Whitehair Schimming (Gatch); and his father-in-law Charles Swarts. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Swarts; his daughter Jenny Jo Whitehair (Lance Sherbert); his stepson Justin Schlesener of Herington, KS.; his sister Dianne (Gene Richart) of Nixa, MO.; his nephew Nick Richart (Mystic); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Westin, Amelia and Georgia of Clever, MO.; his nephew Sam Richart (Kristy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan, Brady and Rylie of Nixa, MO..
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Farm Rescue, a not-for-profit organization that helps farmers that have fallen on hard times.
