He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Pyke and Ruth K. Pyke (Gish); his wife Carole L. Allison; his sons, Thomas Pyke and Dale Pyke; and his brother Ralph Pyke.
He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Dianne Pyke (Wood) of Springfield and Kathleen Pyke (Newlin) of Hays, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Amanda (Pyke), Brantley (Stuart), Christopher Pyke and Scott Pyke; his great grandchildren, Cobie, Coltin and Ryker Pyke; and his sister-in-law Barbara Pyke.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Abilene First Christian Church or to the Eisenhower Foundation.
