She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Mikesell and Margaret Mikesell of Belleville, KS; and her brother Fred Mikesell of Belleville. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Hettenbach of Abilene; her daughter Ellen Pope (Michael) of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Nathan, Natalie, Nora and Noah; her daughter Sarah Hettenbach of Colorado Springs, CO; and her siblings, Dave Mikesell (Lisa) of Republic, KS and Nancy Gossell (Greg) of Lee's Summit, MO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Community Bible Church, Kansas Bible Camp, or Village Manor.
