Joyce Rein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Rein (Abilene, Kansas), who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Ruggles and Vera Ruggles (Bittner); her children, Vicki Gieber (Steve), Johnny Rein of Abilene, Verlyn Rein (Pamela) of Abilene, Ronald Rein (Debbie) of Abilene and Curtis Rein (Sandy) of Abilene; her grandchildren, Tammy Stroda, Randy Stroda, Jakob Stroda, Rick Rein, Angela Carranza, Matt Rein, Brandon Rein and Corinne Garrison; her stepgrandchildren, Nathan, Jacine Gieber, Tracey and Tabetha Copenhaver; her sister Donna Switzer (Ruggles); her cousins, Shirla Holmes and Barbara Bedwell; her husband Valis Leon Rein; and her granddaughter Erika Rein-Mills. She was also cherished by 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorials be donated to the Abilene Senior Center, where Joyce enjoyed friendship and fellowship for many years.
