He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Clemence and Thelma Clemence (Kean); his wife Joanna Carolina Mills; his siblings, Dorothy Montgomery and Fred; and his granddaughter Nichole.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa I. Clemence of Goodland and Bob (Theresa Ann) of WaKeeney. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials are to the Abilene First United Methodist Church to maintain Sanctuary picture window.
