Jody Lantz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jody Lantz of Abilene, Kansas, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jody Lantz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Simmons and Gertrude Simmons (Gish); and her daughter Aileta Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Roy Lantz; her son Mark Lantz (Doreen) of Salina; her grandchildren, David, MiKayla and Zachary; and her great grandchildren, Tinley, Wesley and Corwin. She is also survived by sister-in-laws, brother-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home (414 NW 3rd St, Abilene, KS 67410). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Abilene First Christian Church (612 N Buckeye Ave, Abilene, KS 67410).
The family suggests memorials be given to the First Christian Church or to the American Alzheimer's Association.
