He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Sr. Olson and Norma Olson; and his parents-in-law, Louis and Betty Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Schneider of Enterprise; his sons, Chris Olson (Melissa) of Lexington, Ryan Olson of Goessel, Steven Olson (Kellie) of Abilene and Daniel Olson (Erin) of Topeka, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Lillian), Andrew, Katelyn, Rachel, Benjamen, Michael, Haylie, Levi, Hannah, Rebekah, Noah, Madelyn and Connor; and his brother Greg (Sharon) of Bella Vista, Arkansas..

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church (311 S Buckeye Ave, Abilene, KS 67410). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flows, the family requests donations to St. Andrew's Catholic School or American Legion Riders Chapter 39.
