Gregg Raymond Root Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gregg Raymond Root (Abilene, Kansas), who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Root and Audrey Root; and his grandson Jack Vowiell. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Root; his sons, David Vowiell and Scott Root; his granddaughter Mia Vowiell; and his siblings, Rodney Root (Mari), Bradley Root and Ann Root. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be sent to the Community Foundation of Dickinson County annotated for either the Gregg Root Rock Chalk Scholarship fund or annotated to the First United Methodist Church.
