She was predeceased by: her parents, William Higer and Rose Higer (Houlton); her husband Joseph Garten; her great grandchild Cory Booms; and her sister Bess.
She is survived by: her children, Rosetta Grayson (Creach) and Lonnie Garten (Rosalie). She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and twenty-eight great-great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Hospice of Dickinson County.
