He was predeceased by: his parents, David McMahan and Rosa McMahan (Stroth); and his son Daniel Lee McMahan. He is survived by: his wife Ardis Pschigoda; his children, Rex (Susan) of Hope and Christine Wells (Craig); and his grandchildren, Chantelle Arnold (Billy), Jay Conine (Becky), Cody McMahan (Megan), Kendra Mein (Jeff), Cass McMahan (Crysta), Rayna Novak (Randy) and Carrie Dowdell (Lateef).
The family suggests memorials be given to Ebenezer Baptist Church of Abilene.
