She was predeceased by: her father Vernon Howard; her husband Paul Else; her sons, Shawn Cairns and Marvin Cairns, Jr.; her brother Steve Howard; and her stepfather Clare Clausen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Jones of Abilene, Angie (Steve Joplin) and Laura Cairns (Christopher Birth) of Merriam; her mother Judy Clausen (Schlesener) of Salina; her brother Rick (Linda Howard) of Bixby; her grandchildren, Brandon, Kelsey, Daniel, Steven, Shawn, Kirsten, Orion and Abigail; and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Emilia.
