Connie Holmes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Holmes of Abilene, Kansas, born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ken Maakestad and Mardy Maakestad; her husband Stan Holmes; her daughter Tina Warford (Terry) of Salina; her siblings, Sheila Limbo (Bill) of Sturgis, SD., Dawn Wagness (Ron) of Sturgis, SD., Scott Maakestad (Ruthie) of Littleton, CO. and Jim Maakestad of Sheridan, WY.; her grandchildren, Kenny Holmes (Skylar), Pam Steinbruck (Ben), T. J. Warford (Danielle) of Salina, Anthony Westby (Ying) and Kayla Rowland of Salina; her great grandchildren, Spencer, Drax and Scarlett Holmes; and her son Anthony. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Connie Holmes Memorial Fund.
