He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schrader and Mildred Schrader (Meuli); his significant other Wilma Jean "Jeannie" Zeigler Schrader; his sister Doreen Rufener; and his brother-in-law Gale Rufener (Wayne Zeigler).
He is survived by: his sons, Charles (MaryAnn Schrader) of Englewood, Calvin (Diane Schrader) of Leavenworth and Lon (Kelly Schrader) of Abilene; his brother Lyle (Leona) of Abilene; and his brother-in-law Curt Zeigler of Junction City. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandson as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home (414 NW 3rd St, Abilene, KS 67410). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Basel Church (1075 1100 Ave, Abilene, KS 67410).
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dickinson County, New Basel Church, or to the Outlaw Ranch and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW 3rd, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
