He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Heller and Sadie Heller; his sisters, Shirley and Martha; his wives, Elaine Gladstone and Melba Brammer Hicks; and his grandson Brandon Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Heller of Croton Falls, NY and Daniel Heller of Medellin, Columbia; his stepchildren, Sharon Blair (Scott) of Indianapolis, Darren Hicks of Indianapolis and Glenn Hicks (Sherry) of English, IN; his grandson Ryan Johnson of Indianapolis; and his great grandchild Lily Johnson of St. Paul, Indiana..
