He is survived by: his wife Marcheta Tate of Zionsville; his children, Eric Tate (Kimberly) of Wheaton and Angela "Angie" Eugenio (Randy) of Zionsville; his grandchildren, Charles Tate of Wheaton, Lily Tate of Wheaton, Claire Eugenio of Zionsville and Tate Eugenio of Zionsville; and his brother Neil Tate (Nancy) of North Manchester.
