He was predeceased by: his son Rodney L. Maxey II. He is survived by: his wife Debra Ann Maxey; his daughters, Kamaria Venee Sims and Sherree Khalee Maxey; and his siblings, Leroy Maxey Jr (Lorri), Anthony Maxey, Valerie Maxey-Hodgens (Joseph), Stephanie Maxey-Boyd (Samuel), Affectionately and Poppie. He is also survived by his grandchildren, he will be sadly missed by them all; Alayah Munsell, Aniyah Woods, Aiyanna Sims, Donnell Sims, Anthony Neely, Aaliyah Sims, Amilah Neely, Adrianna Sims, Adonis Neely, Avian Williams, and a host of very special nephews, nieces, other relatives and Dear and Close Friends.
