He was predeceased by: his son Robert. He is survived by: his children, Charles (Jennie), Catherine (Leo), Margaret (James), Eugene (Regina), Elizabeth, Mary and Barbara (Edward); his spouse Claire Terese Kilgallon; his children, Kathleen (Missy Kovac), Terence (Tricia), James Andrew (Stephanie) and Michael (Shani); his grandchildren, Elizabeth (David), Connor, Danielle, Lauren, Kieran, Keely, Kevin and Mary; and his great grandchild Parker.
