She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Ernest and Gertrude Eva Belfield (White); her spouse Charles Allen Portell; her children, Darrell A. Portell, Richard Paul "Rick" Portell and Linda Carol Wynkoop; and her siblings, Melvin E. Belfield (Mary), James Alvin Belfield (Verna), Floyd Belfield, Evelyn Allen (Russell) and Audra Carolyn.
She is survived by: her son Charles Randall "Randy" Portell (Teresa) of Zionsville; and her grandchildren, Jamie Portell (Erica), Scott Wynkoop (Cathy), Christopher Wynkoop, Nikki Brown (Jeff), Michael Portell (Rachel), Kyle Portell (Stephanie), Justin Portell (Cori) and Austin Gibson. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
