He was predeceased by: his parents, James Reckas and Angeline Reckas (Kalfas); his son Nicholas James Reckas; his brother Harry; and his sister-in-law Betty Reckas.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Renee Reckas (Groth); his children, Melanie Reckas, Michael and Zachary Reckas; and his sister Mary Culleeney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
